Hatha Yoga

5:30 – 6:30 pm MST

Need prop substitutes while at home? No problem. Consider soup cans or book in place of blocks, a belt or scarf in place of a yoga strap, and keep a pillow or towel nearby if you normally use a blanket during practice.

Classes are offered by tiered pricing to keep practice accessible. If the rates listed are not accessible to you, email Britt for access to donation-based practice.

Brittany is a teacher of subtlety. Her classes thread breath, detail, and focused mind through steady holds and slow, fluid flows. Britt’s love of metaphor and visualization create pathways into a meditation on the depth available in each experience. With a background in Math education, Britt’s emphasizes clarity and relationships in her teaching. Her love of biomechanics, subtle body and community are anchors in her classrooms. Britt bows to the Hearts of her teachers and students and is endlessly committed to honoring the origins and teachings of Yoga. You can expect to explore new movement, inspire curiosity, and leave your mat feeling grounded, centered and strong.

Class Offerings

Britt offers a diverse range of asana styles with the belief that yoga is for every body. Classes range from focusses in physicality, fluidity, deep relaxation, and philosophy. Explore and enjoy!

Hatha

Hatha yoga prioritizes an intellectual approach to the postures of yoga through detailed alignment and biomechanics. This style balances strength and stretch and usually builds to a peak pose. Explore the library of classes here

Steady Flow

Steady Flow prioritizes calm, meditative movement. This class aims to balance fluid movement with strong, steady holds. Classes built for students of all levels with options offered throughout the class. Explore the library of classes here

Restorative

Restorative yoga is a delicious way to relax and soothe the nervous system. This passive practice utilizes bolsters, blankets, and blocks (or if you are working with props from home: lots of blankets and pillows!) to prop students into passive poses so the body can experience the benefits of a pose without having to exert any effort. This class is appropriate for all levels of students- an excellent place to enter the practice! Explore the library of classes here
